Entrypoint Versions 3.1 is installed as two components: the server and the client. The software requires a compatible database for data storage, and a compatible network.

Each user must have full read, write and execute permissions for the directory where Entrypoint is installed. This directory is usually "C:\Program Files\Entrypoint Client". Users need full permissions for Entrypoint sub-directories as well.
A monitor capable of displaying True Color (24 or 32 bit) at a resolution of 1024x768 is recommended.
The Windows DPI setting must be 96 DPI, the normal setting for each user. To verify, right-click the Desktop and select Properties. In the Display Properties dialog box select the Settings tab; then select Advanced.
